En Primeur is a french term that refers to the buying of wine in advance of being bottled and released by the estate. Connoisseurs and collectors can secure access to sought after wines, typically at significant discount on eventual market value.
The growers represented by musigny produce a cross section of the most in-demand, acclaimed wines of Burgundy. Once physically released, many of these wines disappear into private cellars, never coming available to the market again, or only at significantly increased prices.
As a result, musigny sells exclusively en Primeur, offering our wines at release price, with the best possible provenance, direct from the Domaine.
