A new cuvee from Jerome, this is a very classy expression boasting lashings of sweet blackberry fruit aromatics, bramble berries, tart red cherries, and grape jelly allowing the old vine and young vine character of the blend to shine. It reveals a beautiful sweet and sour depth with notes of tart plum, a fleshy depth, and a seamlessly silky textured tannin complexity. Massive power and superb length! A wonderful new edition to Jerome s range.
Anticipated maturity: 2026-2036
Fixin and former Cote de Nuits-Villages vines have been blended together, a mix of old vines and young massal selection. Mid ruby. High class pinot to the nose, impressive. Sniff that and ask for more. A juicy generosity on the palate without being massively ripe. Everything in place, I am impressed. Champ de Charmes included this year. Excellent fruit acid balance.
Anticipated maturity: 2028-2032
