There is still great value in Burgundy to be had…
Thank you to all those who attended our excellent tasting at Light on the Common in Wimbledon.
It was great to see all of our growers’ wines showing well – The Meursault Charmes 2022 from Latour Giraud and the Pommard 2020 from Anne Parent were very much favourites of the night! They both show there is still great value in Burgundy to be had.
It was great to bring out of our cellar wines with age, that whilst they are good to mature, are drinking so well now. Some of the wines we tasted on the evening were from vintages spanning 2019 to 2022 – the 2021 from Marc Soyard is an example of a great reason why you should store with us and get on allocation lists.
With bottle prices ranging from £30 to £106, all wines featured will be available for immediate delivery from our warehouse.
This tasting offers a perfect snapshot of what makes Burgundy so captivating, and why collecting and cellaring with musigny, a true Burgundy specialist, makes all the difference.
However if you’re not in the business of storing wine, we do have deep stocks that we release regularly which are perfect for delivery and drinking now.
It was nice to see so many attendees come and taste these exquisite wines, what a great way to spend a Monday night… 5 hours of great food and wine. We’d like to thank Hugo and his team at Light on the Common for organising a great menu for us, we will be back later in the year for more tastings.
