Tasting Notes
Greg Sherwood 93-94
A delightful wine showing the aromatic complexity of this Grand Cru. Fragrant, intricately perfumed and seductive with violets and apple blossom, black cherries, and tart red plums. The power and clarity are very impressive, some of the finest fruit purity alongside tangy integrated acids and sweet, intense red and black berry fruits. This is a real stunner with concentration of note! Superb. Drink from 2027 to 2036+. (Wine Safari Score: 93-94/100 Greg Sherwood MW) [Greg Sherwood, 01/12/2025]

Here the wood is no longer subtle though it’s not so prominent that it overshadows the more subtly spiced aromas of various red berries, newly turned earth and a suggestion of old leather. Once again, the sleek and beautifully detailed flavors are not particularly dense, though to be clear they are by no means dilute, while delivering excellent length on the solidly complex and ever-so-mildly warm finale where the wood resurfaces.
