The cepage of the Les Jeunes Rois lieu dit cuvee features three new and five older oak barrels with the final blending to be done in tank at the end of December with bottling in March 2026. The aromatics show an enticing complexity mix of red and black berry fruits, bramble berries, wild strawberries, wood spice and stony mineral nuances. The savoury earthy meaty Gevrey notes are balanced by tangy fresh acids, intense black berry and cherry fruits with a notable saline kiss in the finish. Accessible, piercing and beautifully intense, this really has class shining through. Drink from 2026 to 2036+.
