The final Clos Champ blend reveals a sappy, mineral, spicy lift before layers of black plum, black cherry and broody wood smoke embers. The palate shows ample power and structure, a linear frame with stony fine-grained mineral tannins, finishing with saline black berry, graphite, black pepper and a delightfully stony tannin grip on the finish. A very serious effort for the vintage. Drink from 2026 to 2036+.
