Always one of Arlaud s most sophisticated 1er Crus, the 2024 is bold and lifted with earthy, savoury black fruited aromatics, rich cassis, black cherry and pink musk notes. The acids are linear and direct, lending an extra cradling structure to the polished fine grained marble tannins, finishing long and pure. Wow, what a cracker! Drink now to 2038+. A fuller and darker ruby, with a rounded nose, more flesh less finesse. Then good acidity behind, maybe a fraction more volatile but well within bounds. Medium length. Drink from 2030-2036. Tasted Nov 2025. Star rating:3 100pt score: 90-92
