Tasting Notes
Greg Sherwood 93-94+/100
An intense aromatics boasting exotic Asian spices, potpourri perfume, blueberry and chalky pink musk. The mouthfeel is broad, plump and beautifully creamy and fleshy with tangy acids, an elevated fruit concentration and an all-round gravitas and power, finishing with bruleed savoury black fruits notes. A noteworthy wine for the vintage. [Greg Sherwood, 28/11/2024]

Domaine Michel Gros Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Aux Brulees 2023 Top notes of kirsch and jasmine tea adds interest to the ripe aromas of mostly poached plum scents. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the acceptably concentrated medium weight flavors that flash good minerality on the youthfully austere, dusty and sneaky long finish where a more subtle hint of asperity appears.
