Tasting Notes
Greg Sherwood 91-93/100
An intricate aromatics with lifted perfumed notes of red cherry, raspberry rock candy, and sweet strawberry fruit nuances. There s a gentle elegance, with a soft supple mouthfeel and a sweet blue black fruited intensity, beautifully tangy and polished. A lovely, elegant expression for earlier drinking. Here the spicy and floral-suffused nose derives more from the dark side of the fruit spectrum. There is both more volume and richness to the succulent, round and supple medium weight flavors that also come up a bit short as the dusty finish is borderline drying. The tannins do seem ripe so again, it’s hard to predict if this will better harmonize in time. [Allen Meadows, 10/01/2025]
