Tasting Notes
Greg Sherwood 91-92/100
Another beautiful black and blue fruited wine bursting with saline black cherry, oyster shell, and black currant nuances. The palate shows real vibrancy, freshness and a pleasing opulence, sleek accessibility, finishing with a subtle savoury raisined blueberry note. Polished but very attractive. Ripe, cool and airy aromas are comprised by notes of wild cherry, raspberry and subtle spice nuances. The refined and highly energetic flavors exhibit both good detail and minerality on the dusty and moderately austere finish that presently comes up a bit short. Like several of the wines in the range, it’s difficult to predict whether better persistence will eventually appear. [Allen Meadows, 10/01/2025]
