Tasting Notes
Greg Sherwood 90-91/100
An incredibly bright, vivacious expression brimming with energy and clarity, packed full of violets, black cherry and a pronounced salinity. Racy and fresh on the palate, the acids are tangy and bright, mouthwatering with strawberry compote, black berries and a nervy taut limestone minerality on the finish. Utterly delicious. This is also quite aromatically pretty with its mix of red and dark berries cut with newly turned earth and a suggestion of kirsch. The supple, succulent and round middle weight flavors also conclude in a dusty and youthfully austere that flirts with dryness. Again, it’s hard to say if this will better harmonize with a few years of cellaring [Allen Meadows, 10/01/2025]
