Tasting Notes
Greg Sherwood 96
A deep, dark, and dramatic with a broody black fruited aromatics packed with violets, black cherry, tilled earth, sweet spices, and a subtle bresaola cured meat complexity. The palate is silky, soft, and multi-dimensional with a deceptively powerful structure and frame, tastefully draped in blueberry and black currant fruits with chalky dry tannins and a tangy black cherry vivacity on the concentrated mouth coating finish. A simply stunning vintage from the domaine with clear old vine poise, power, and intensity. Another great rendition of this famous Grand Cru. [Greg Sherwood, 06/03/2025]
