The 2020 Corton les Renardes Grand Cru has 100% whole bunch and aged entirely in new oak. The stems make quite an impression on the nose, just slightly occluding the terroir expression at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, quite austere on the entry, good depth and freshness with a spicy finish. Correct and with its tie tied up a bit too tight at the moment, gives this 4-6 years to loosen it.
