The 2019 Pommard Les Croix Noires ler Cru comes from vines located just in front of La Chaponnieres. Anne Parent used 20% whole bunches and 40% new French oak here. This has a well defined bouquet with a discrete marine influence percolating through the black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with saturated tannins, fine acidity, a little burly towards the finish that needs to muster more precision and detail. Give this 3-4 years in bottle.
