The 2019 Pommard la Croix Blanche includes 10% whole clusters and 35% new oak. It has a lovely, very pure bouquet with macerated red cherries, crushed strawberry and light cassis aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with a light grip on the entry, quite compact at the moment though imminent racking will address that. Fine black peppery notes on the finish. Good potential.
