The 2018 Pommard Village has a pastille-like purity on the nose of raspberry and Tiptree strawberries, quite feminine in style and very elegant. The palate is medium-bodied with so much fleshy red fruit you would think it is a Volnay, and fine-structured on the finish. A thoroughly enjoyable Pommard to drink over the next five to seven years.
