2018, Volnay Clos de la Cave, Jean-Marc & Thomas Bouley Much lighter in the colour, kept cool by the forest to avoid the late afternoon sun. This has a much more graceful and Volnaysien bouquet. These are ripe grapes nonetheless with a deep raspberry style but less dry behind. Good length, my preferred wine among Thomas Bouley s three village Volnays. Tasted Dec 2019 by Jasper Morris MW. Star rating: 4 Stars 100pt score: 88-90
