Gorgeous raspberry fruit with succulent sweet oak too. Very smart for village level. Moderate tannins, high acid, medium body. Gives both floral and earthy flavours on the palate, with plenty of persistence. Clearly very well made, although they are not giving it away, in terms of price – and perhaps that new oak is only just in check? (RH)
