Tasting Notes

This has a lovely, sensuous cherry and raspberry scented nose, infused with rose petals. Superb definition. A fine palate with filigree tannins: cherry, strawberry with a touch of liquorices. A firm structure, certainly Grand Cru quality with good persistency on the finish, which has some malic acid that needs sorting out. 2/06 [Neal Martin]

Cask Sample. Lively and punchy, this wine really is trying! Great vitality and struture. Dense. Good acidity. Punch! Possibly the best Clos Vougeot 2004 I have tasted. [12/01/2006]
