These wines were tasted on Monday, were brought back by me 6 weeks ago on my last visit to Burgundy.
Decanted and left to rest, we invited some of the good and the great of the UK wine trade to taste, including one of Burgundy’s most famous commentators, Matthew O’Connell.

Amazing to try the 21s of young winemaker Kei Shiogai. Loved the cherbaudes, so pretty and pure. All the wines showed what they should do at this stage. Well done Kei.
The results were astounding and people were truly blown away by the elegance and poise of these wines, so we are certainly looking forward to his 2022’s release.
As musigny has an eye for discovering talent, Kei is certainly a rising superstar and is certainly one grower to take note of…!
